VeChainThor Mainnet Version 1.0.2 Launched Yesterday

The VeChain (VET) Foundation published its VeChainThor Mainnet v1.0.2 update on September 3rd, an official post on Twitter reported. The VeChainThor main network was introduced in June this year for the first time.

One of the main addition to the VeChainThor blockchain is the integration of new tools like the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process. This feature is backed by the implementation of smart contracts, which delivers a higher level of transparency and effectiveness.

The update is now available for members to download from the VeCHain official GitHub portal. The team encourages the members of the VeChain (VET) community to upgrade to the new VeChainThor Mainnet v1.0.2 by introducing new functions and fixing bugs in the main code lines. The VeChain Foundation also boosted blockchain performance with this release.

Their GitHub page gives quick overviews of these developments.

VeChainThor Mainnet v1.0.2 update comes with new features for VeChain (VET) and VeChain blockchain

The source code can manage new block subscriptions, new events, and trades via WebSocket queries, based on the VeChain (VET) team’s own post. Also, the attribute only contains one extra flag check that permits you to customize the block gas limit.

Moreover, the solo attribute now only manages errors and printing of logs more efficiently than ever before. An HTTP header check known as an x-genesis-id has been included to prevent inadvertent access to the wrong node instances. Additionally, adjusting several P2P parameters has enhanced the synchronization.

The new VeChainThor Mainnet v1.0.2 update also addressed a compilation error associated with go1.10.4 and go1.11. The missing address area has also been incorporated into the POST/logs/events build.

In other breakthroughs, the VeChain (VET) token was exchanged with great success, and on August 28th the Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange platform revealed that commercial transactions had been made available for the crypto token. Additionally, deposits and withdrawals were also accessible to customers from yesterday at 16.00 UTC.
