Ripple Reveals 11 New Partnerships And Abra Supports XRP Adoption

The Ripple and XRP community had a great wee and enough reasons to celebrate.

For starters, the Binance CEO has finally acknowledged the huge potential that Ripple and its products hold for the future.

Changpeng Zhao just announced that the crypto exchange would be teaming up with Ripple in order to boost the XRP-powered product xRapid.

Zhao said that they have not yet begun the process of establishing this partnership, but this is definitely in the cards for the two companies.

For now, Binance will remain focused on launching the Binance Chain and its forthcoming decentralized exchange Binance DEX.

CZ explained that “We’re focused on launching more features right now, so we are working with a number of other partners. With xRapid, there’s nothing going on right now, but in the future, we’ll definitely want to add them as a partner.”

Abra supports XRP adoption

The crypto platform Abra revealed that it brings XRP to people from 155 countries.

They will do this by offering interested crypto enthusiasts and not only to buy fractions of high-priced shares such as Amazon, Netflix or Facebook and also exchange-traded funds with Ripple’s digital asset XRP.

Abra has already begun to roll out this feature for Bitcoin, but they will also do the same thing for XRP as well.

Ripple reveals 11 new partnerships

Ripple just revealed 11 new partnerships with major Universities from all over the globe.

The company’s University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) has been created to provide grants and support programs to help grow the blockchain ecosystem.

Here are Ripple’s new partners below:

• Carnegie Mellon University
• Cornell University
• Duke University
• Georgetown University
• University of Kansas
• University of Michigan
• Morgan State University
• National University of Singapore
• Northeastern University
• University of São Paulo
• Institute for Fintech Research, Tsinghua University

At the moment Ripple has 29 universities in UBRI.
