Ethereum Network Hits Important Milestone And Surpasses 50 Million Addresses

Ethereum is enjoying significant achievements these days.

The latest data reported by The Block from Etherescan.io, the number of unique Ethereum addresses recently hit a new milestone and surpasses a key figure – 50 million.

This is definitely a massive achievement for any network, as you can imagine.

Even amid the 2018 unpredictable bear market and the fall of Bitcoin, the growth of this figure has not slowed too much as you can see for yourself in the graph.

The statistics current growth prospects are high compared to early-January 2018 when Ehtereum surpassed $1,000 and while the demand for dApps and ETH, the token, trading were boosted to the Moon.

Today, about 70,000 new addresses are added to the Ethereum network on a daily basis, and this is far from a tiny sum.

All of this could be an indicator of the fact that tens of thousands of consumers will be seeing value in what Ethereum as to offer. It’s also worth noting that processes have become cheaper, mainly due to market qualms.

Built-in Ethereum wallet is implemented in Opera browser for Android

In other news, it was recently reported that Opera just revealed the public release of its “Web 3-ready” Android web browser which comes with a built-in crypto wallet.

Opera for Android used to be previously only available in beta, and now it supports Ethereum and more crypto utilizing the network’s ERC-20 standard.

“Until now using cryptocurrencies online and accessing Web 3 required special apps or extensions, making it difficult for people to even try it out. Our new browser removes that friction,” Charles Hamel, the product manager of Opera Crypto, said in a statement.

Opera’s crypto wallet comes with the Ethereum Web3 API, and it allows interactions with dApps. It’s a “tool to access data, make transactions online and manage users’ online identity” with enhanced control.
