Travala.com travel website is a so-called AirBnB on the blockchain, and it brings huge news. From now on, it will offer more than 550, 000 in 210 countries that can be booked with Ripple’s digital token.

Ripple’s native XRP has also been successfully added to the platform, according to the official announcement: “You can now book 550,000+ hotels in 210 countries using @ripple $XRP. Travel to 82,000+ destinations worldwide.”

This announcement was followed by a similar one in which the team mentioned their intention to add DASH as well as a payment method. The travel website currently accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), EOS (EOS), Binance Coin (BNB), Stellar Lumens (XLM), True USD (TUSD), XRP (XRP), and its native coin AVA.

Ripple plans to revolutionize the universe of remittance

Navin Gupta, Ripple’s managing director of South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa shows a bold approach with the end goal of revolutionizing the world of finance.

Gupta said that “That’s the reason six years ago we were born with a mission of moving money, like information moves today, right? And we are making it possible, working with the existing ecosystem.”

He concluded by saying “So we are like Google is for search, Ripple is for remittances. And that’s what we are going to do.”
