Ripple’s XRP Could Be Used By An Important Bank

Both Ripple and the digital asset XRP have had a great year so far, with the company bagging more partnerships and the coin witnessing increased adoption via multiple integrations (WooCommerce, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook and more).

Ripple has been making considerable efforts to promote the adoption of XRP, and the XRP army of fans is only waiting to see the many achievements that these two entities managed to have also mirrored in the price of XRP.

Siam Commercial Bank hints at using XRP

Siam Commercial Bank is the largest bank in Thailand, and they might have just hinted at the fact that they’ll be using XRP, Investinblockchain reported.

In a tweet, they said that regarding this subject, users “will have to wait for further announcements.”

You can see their tweet below.

The Twitter community became impatient and started asking questions regarding how long they’ll have to wait for the announcement, but SCB did not offer further details.

You may recall that back in April, SCB has conducted a trial for cross-border payments using Ripple’s tech.

The transaction time was reduced from 2 days to 1 minute which was indeed a massive achievement.

If the bank were to work with Ripple and use its solutions for cross-border transactions, this would be a massive boost for the company and also for XRP as well.

Let’s wait and see whether SCB also loves XRP.
